How do I know this? Here:
Severe Weather Alert from the National Weather Service

...LAUDERDALE-COLBERT-FRANKLIN AL-LAWRENCE-LIMESTONE-MADISON-MORGAN- MARSHALL-JACKSON-DE KALB-CULLMAN-MOORE-LINCOLN-FRANKLIN TN- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF... FLORENCE... MUSCLE SHOALS... RUSSELLVILLE... MOULTON... ATHENS... HUNTSVILLE... HARTSELLE... GUNTERSVILLE... SCOTTSBORO... FORT PAYNE... CULLMAN... LYNCHBURG... FAYETTEVILLE... WINCHESTER 236 PM CST SAT MAR 26 2005 ... POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SEVERE WEATHER SITUATION LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...

AN OUTBREAK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND TORNADOES IS BECOMING MORE LIKELY BEGINNING AFTER MIDNIGHT... BUT ESPECIALLY ON SUNDAY.

SCATTERED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR TONIGHT ALONG AND NORTH OF A NORTHWARD ADVANCING WARM FRONT. BY MIDNIGHT... THE FRONT WILL BE LOCATED ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA FROM NORTH OF TUSCALOOSA THROUGH BIRMINGHAM TO GADSDEN. SUPERCELLS CAPABLE OF LARGE HAIL WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM MIDNIGHT THROUGH AROUND 6 AM. THE RISK OF AN ISOLATED TORNADO WILL INCREASE TOWARD SUNRISE WITH THESE STORMS. ALSO... LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED THROUGH MIDDAY SUNDAY MORNING. SO ALTHOUGH FLASH FLOODING IS NOT A LARGE CONCERN... SOME MINOR URBAN STREET FLOODING COULD OCCUR.

OF PARTICULAR CONCERN IS THE THREAT OF TORNADOES FROM LATE SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. AS STRONG LOW PRESSURE MOVES FROM LOUISIANA INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE... AN UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL OVERSPREAD THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. AS STRONG HEATING OCCURS BY LATE MORNING INTO EARLY AFTERNOON... THIS AIRMASS WILL BECOME PRIME FOR EXPLOSIVE SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS WESTERN ALABAMA AND MISSISSIPPI. INITIAL STORMS WILL MOVE RAPIDLY NORTHEAST INTO THE TENNESSEE VALLEY BY OR SHORTLY BEFORE MIDDAY. AS A COLD FRONT SWINGS IN FROM MISSISSIPPI DURING THE AFTERNOON... ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE STORMS CAN BE EXPECTED... INCLUDING TORNADOES.

THE THREAT FOR TORNADOES WILL BE HIGHEST AFTER 11 AM... BUT ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE BEFORE THAT TIME. LONG TRACK STRONG TORNADOES ARE A THREAT FROM MIDDAY ONWARD DURING THE AFTERNOON AS A VERY STRONG UPPER LEVEL JET STREAM INTERACTS WITH VERY UNSTABLE AIR AND A STRONG LOW LEVEL WIND SHEAR.

THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. IT WOULD BE WISE TO REVIEW TORNADO SAFETY GUIDELINES NOW... AND BE READY TO IMPLEMENT ACTION SHOULD A WATCH OR WARNING BE ISSUED. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE FOR THOSE WITH ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES... WHETHER INDOORS OR OUT....

Oh man. So, yes. I must be careful when driving to work in the morning. While the rest of the world sleeps and enjoys Easter, I have to be at work. *grumbles*

Work today was absolute madness. I mean, we were short staffed, half of the registers didn't operate at all, way too many customers in the store, our normal communications with the CSM's were down and will continue be down until the Technical Guys come and fix them. I had to force a few customers to wait on me so I could wait on the stupid cash office people hurry up with their breaks so I could give the customers their change. What happend was that I had just arrived to that register therefore no money. And the customers gave me $100. All I thought was "oh shit, this cannot be happening!" I felt horrble for them but there was really nothing I could do except tell them that they'll get their change in a moment or two.

Tomorrow should be slower. I talked to higher-ups and they said it may be slightly busy the first part of the day but then it'll be really slow. Hopefully they can let me go home somewhat early. My dad and step-mom are driving through on their way to Florida, and want to come and see me. I'd rather not spend those precious moments stuck at work slaving away, you know?
