Just Another Diaryland.com Journal
What's the Point?

The following is what sunfall emailed me yesterday. Concerning my sudden change to re-do my design for this journal. But be advised, when I asked her to design a template for me, I did not have a Gold Membership. (Obviously, I do now.)

"You know, I'm not really sure why you bothered asking me to make a layout for you. The idea is not to just take something and fix it how you wanted. I originally said that - if you wanted just a template to work from, you could have just downloaded one from the free templates section at http://beautify.diaryland.com.

I tried to be nice - I went ahead and made a layout, since you apologized. I don't like to hold grudges. I know it wasn't the spiffiest thing in the world, but when you don't have much to work with (i.e. no images) it's hard to make something great. So I made you a design. You could have sent me an email or something to let me know you changed it. Another thing I told you before was that it's good to let people know about something -- it's polite. Sure you gave credit, but big deal. At least let someone know.

So at this point, I'm pretty disgusted. You stole my stuff and fixed it once, apologized (though I've noticed it's still on some of your pages on your other site), and then I made something especially for you and you did it again. So here. If you want to learn, here's some websites:

If you would, just please remove my name from your credits. I don't even care anymore."

So, what was I supposed to do? Keep the original layout, and never mess with it, or improve it to my spontaneous personality?
